PROYECTO IMPLANTACIÓN HOTEL APARTAMENTO 

Proyecto de implantación de hotel apartamento de 14 habitaciones ubicado en la entreplanta de un edificio.

Hotel apartamento concebido como refugio contemporáneo. Lejos de reproducir la estética convencional de los alojamientos turísticos impersonales, la propuesta plantea una experiencia íntima, cálida y sofisticada, donde el diseño interior se convierte en el principal vehículo emocional del espacio.

 El proyecto nace de una premisa clara: ofrecer al visitante la sensación de habitar, no simplemente de alojarse. Bajo esta idea, la intervención desarrolla un lenguaje sereno y equilibrado que combina líneas contemporáneas y una cuidada relación entre luz, textura y proporción. El resultado es un espacio que transmite calma desde el primer recorrido, invitando a detener el ritmo y experimentar una forma de confort más silenciosa y sensorial.

 La arquitectura interior se apoya en una composición limpia y depurada, donde cada elemento responde a una lógica precisa. Los espacios se organizan con naturalidad, evitando artificios innecesarios y permitiendo que la materialidad cobre protagonismo. La distribución prioriza la amplitud visual y la continuidad espacial, favoreciendo transiciones fluidas entre las diferentes áreas del hotel.

 El tratamiento de la luz. La iluminación natural actúa como materia constructiva, modelando superficies y potenciando la atmósfera cálida del conjunto. Durante el día, los espacios se llenan de una luminosidad suave que resalta las tonalidades neutras y las texturas minerales; por la noche, la iluminación artificial se vuelve más íntima y envolvente, mediante puntos de luz indirecta cuidadosamente integrados en la arquitectura. Esta dualidad lumínica permite que el apartamento transforme su carácter a lo largo del día, adaptándose a distintos momentos y ritmos de uso.

 La paleta material responde a una voluntad de atemporalidad. Maderas oscuras, revestimientos continuos, tejidos orgánicos y superficies pétreas construyen una identidad sobria y elegante. Los tonos tierra aportan profundidad emocional al espacio, mientras que la textura de los materiales introduce una dimensión táctil que humaniza la experiencia arquitectónica.

 Con el mobiliario de diseño se buscaba un equilibrio entre funcionalidad y estética. Las piezas, de líneas sencillas y proporciones contenidas, dialogan con la arquitectura sin imponerse sobre ella. Cada elemento ocupa el lugar justo, permitiendo que el espacio respire y mantenga una sensación constante de orden y serenidad. La selección decorativa evita el exceso y apuesta por una composición contenida, donde los objetos adquieren valor precisamente por su capacidad de integrarse armónicamente en el conjunto. Los cuadros de papel pintado diseñados por el estudio para este proyecto tienen un papel importante en la decoración.

 El diseño de las áreas de descanso refuerza esta idea de intimidad contemporánea. Los dormitorios se conciben como espacios de desconexión, donde la reducción visual y la suavidad cromática favorecen el reposo. La iluminación tenue, las texturas textiles y la presencia constante de materiales cálidos generan una atmósfera casi doméstica. Cada habitación busca ofrecer una experiencia pausada y envolvente, en la que el huésped pueda sentirse temporalmente habitante del lugar.

 Los baños continúan esta misma narrativa material y sensorial. Concebidos como pequeños espacios de bienestar, integran revestimientos continuos, iluminación indirecta y una composición minimalista que enfatiza la pureza geométrica. La elección de acabados naturales y tonos neutros transforma estos espacios funcionales en escenarios de calma y cuidado personal, reforzando la coherencia estética del conjunto.

 Otro aspecto destacable del proyecto es su capacidad para integrar contemporaneidad y contexto sin recurrir a referencias explícitas. Aunque el lenguaje arquitectónico es claramente actual, existe una sensibilidad mediterránea implícita en el uso de la luz, en la honestidad material y en la relación relajada entre los espacios. La atmósfera resultante transmite cercanía y autenticidad, evitando caer en soluciones estandarizadas o excesivamente internacionalizadas.

 Más allá de su resolución estética, el proyecto plantea también una reflexión sobre las nuevas formas de habitar la ciudad. El auge de los alojamientos híbridos —a medio camino entre vivienda y hotel— exige espacios capaces de responder a necesidades cambiantes: descanso, trabajo, estancia breve o permanencia prolongada. En este contexto, la arquitectura adquiere un papel fundamental como herramienta de adaptación y bienestar. Este apartahotel entiende esa transformación y responde mediante una propuesta flexible, funcional y profundamente humana.

 Cada decisión proyectual —desde la distribución hasta el diseño lumínico o la elección material— contribuye a construir una narrativa coherente basada en el confort, la calma y la sensibilidad espacial. El proyecto no busca impresionar mediante gestos grandilocuentes, sino conquistar a través de la atmósfera y la precisión.

 En definitiva, este hotel apartamento representa una manera más consciente y sofisticada de entender este tipo de proyectos. Un espacio pensado para ser vivido con naturalidad, donde la arquitectura se pone al servicio de las emociones cotidianas y donde el diseño logra transformar la estancia temporal en una experiencia auténticamente habitable. Su mayor virtud quizá resida precisamente ahí: en demostrar que el verdadero lujo no consiste en mostrar más, sino en hacer sentir mejor.

APARTMENT HOTEL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT 

Project to create a 14-room serviced apartment hotel located on the mezzanine level of a building.

A serviced apartment hotel conceived as a contemporary retreat. Far from replicating the conventional aesthetic of impersonal tourist accommodation, the proposal offers an intimate, warm and sophisticated experience, where the interior design becomes the space’s primary emotional vehicle.

 The project stems from a clear premise: to offer visitors the sensation of living there, not simply staying there. Guided by this idea, the design develops a serene and balanced language that combines contemporary lines with a carefully considered interplay of light, texture and proportion. The result is a space that conveys calm from the very first moment, inviting visitors to slow down and experience a quieter, more sensory form of comfort.

 The interior architecture is based on a clean, refined composition, where every element responds to a precise logic. The spaces are organised naturally, avoiding unnecessary artifice and allowing the materials to take centre stage. The layout prioritises visual spaciousness and spatial continuity, favouring fluid transitions between the hotel’s different areas.

 The use of light. Natural light acts as a building material, shaping surfaces and enhancing the warm atmosphere of the space. During the day, the spaces are filled with a soft light that highlights the neutral tones and mineral textures; at night, the artificial lighting becomes more intimate and enveloping, through points of indirect light carefully integrated into the architecture. This duality of light allows the apartment to transform its character throughout the day, adapting to different moments and rhythms of use.

 The material palette reflects a desire for timelessness. Dark woods, continuous cladding, organic fabrics and stone surfaces create a sober and elegant identity. Earthy tones lend emotional depth to the space, whilst the texture of the materials introduces a tactile dimension that humanises the architectural experience.

 The designer furniture was intended to strike a balance between functionality and aesthetics. The pieces, with their simple lines and restrained proportions, interact with the architecture without overpowering it. Each element occupies just the right place, allowing the space to breathe and maintaining a constant sense of order and serenity. The decorative scheme avoids excess and opts for a restrained composition, where objects gain value precisely through their ability to blend harmoniously into the whole. The wallpaper designs created by the studio for this project play a significant role in the décor.

The design of the relaxation areas reinforces this sense of contemporary intimacy. The bedrooms are conceived as spaces for unwinding, where visual simplicity and soft colour palettes encourage rest. Subdued lighting, textile textures and the constant presence of warm materials create an almost homely atmosphere. Each room aims to offer a leisurely and immersive experience, in which the guest can feel like a temporary resident of the space.

 The bathrooms continue this same material and sensory narrative. Conceived as small spaces dedicated to well-being, they feature continuous cladding, indirect lighting and a minimalist composition that emphasises geometric purity. The choice of natural finishes and neutral tones transforms these functional spaces into settings of calm and personal care, reinforcing the aesthetic coherence of the whole.

 Another notable aspect of the project is its ability to integrate contemporary design with its context without resorting to explicit references. Although the architectural language is clearly modern, there is an implicit Mediterranean sensibility in the use of light, the honesty of the materials and the relaxed relationship between the spaces. The resulting atmosphere conveys a sense of warmth and authenticity, avoiding standardised or overly internationalised solutions.

 Beyond its aesthetic resolution, the project also prompts a reflection on new ways of inhabiting the city. The rise of hybrid accommodation—halfway between a home and a hotel—demands spaces capable of responding to changing needs: rest, work, short stays or extended stays. In this context, architecture takes on a fundamental role as a tool for adaptation and well-being. This aparthotel understands this transformation and responds with a flexible, functional and deeply human design.

 Every design decision—from the layout to the lighting design and the choice of materials—contributes to creating a coherent narrative centred on comfort, tranquillity and a sense of space. The project does not seek to impress with grandiose gestures, but rather to captivate through its atmosphere and precision.

 Ultimately, this apartment hotel represents a more conscious and sophisticated approach to this type of project. A space designed to be lived in naturally, where architecture serves everyday emotions and where design transforms a temporary stay into a genuinely liveable experience. Its greatest virtue perhaps lies precisely there: in demonstrating that true luxury is not about showing off more, but about making people feel better.
